I’ve been using Ramya Tailoring & Alterations for years and couldn’t be happier. Her pricing is fair, she completes everything in a timely manner, and her work is impeccable. I’m short, so I need most of my clothes altered, and she always does an amazing job. She has also altered my formal wear beautifully. You won’t be disappointed!

She was professional, prompt, sensitive to my needs and helped me with a rush job for an outfit for my “destination” wedding, less than a week away.
The dress fit like she had styled it for me and her charges were beyond reasonable.
It’s obvious she cares very much about customer satisfaction. I will send all my friends to her when they have alteration issues. Beyond thrilled with my ornate Indian styled dress! Which fits me perfectly now!

Ramya is amazing! I brought her my mother of the groom dress. She did a beautiful job. The dress had several layers and she shortened it for me. Also she is so fast. It was done in a week!
My husband first used her for alterations on some shirts.
She then shortened my daughter's bridesmaid dress and it was perfect.
She is very reasonably priced and is very professional! Thank you Ramya.

I have nothing but praise for Ramya Tailoring & Alterations. We recently had several outfits tailored /altered for my son’s upcoming wedding. The work was impeccable. The owner could not have been more gracious and accommodating and everything was completed ahead of schedule. Ramya is so kind and friendly but her work speaks for itself. I have had several pants hemmed by her and the length and fit has been perfect. The prices are extremely reasonable and the turnaround time is way better than most shops I've been too. I love supporting local businesses but Ramya makes it such an enjoyable experience.

I needed a saree blouse tailored ASAP for my best friend's wedding. Ramya saved the weekend with her expertise, quick service, and professionalism. She was able to make the blouse, which was too small originally, fit me perfectly. Because of her, I was able to enjoy the wedding and look appropriate for photos. She listened carefully, offered suggestions, and made sure we felt comfortable the entire time. Not only did she absolutely nail the alterations (her work was flawless!), but her turnaround time was so quick I could hardly believe it.
What really stood out though was her warmth. She went above and beyond to accommodate us and even made the experience enjoyable with the little touches — including the best snacks while we waited! My daughter and I both left saying how rare it is to find someone so talented, professional, and genuinely kind.
If you need tailoring done, don’t even think twice. Ramya deserves all the recognition — her skill, her heart, and her hospitality make her one of a kind!

Ramya was simply amazing! I typically got some of my regular altering done at a place in Folsom but don’t love the place. They do a good job and are fairly inexpensive but I have some issues with some items after I get them and the experience there is whatever. Now, I have my wedding dress to consider, which is fully beaded and very detailed and I knew I didn’t want to take it there so I did some research and came across Ramya. I was very nervous to drop off such an important item for the first time with someone but I trusted my gut. My the first time I went there to picking up my dress, I felt welcome, important and confident she would do an amazing job. She even had me come back half way to try on and said I can come back whenever as I was struggling finding shoes and a veil. My dress looks absolutely perfect and she didn’t miss a single detail. I will definitely be going back for my regular alterations. Thank you again Ramya!

This review is long over due. Ramya is one of the sweetest persons I've met this year who provides a service to others. I called Ramya to see if she was able to shorten the length of a very long dress. I brought the dress to her on a Monday and per my request, it was ready on Friday. She did an amazing job!! Her customer service is second to none. She was very detailed in explaining how the alterations would be made. I highly recommend Ramya. She is professional, personable, and very good at what she does. Her pricing is fair. I will definitely use her services again!

Ramya is one of the sweetest people ever! I brought her my very heavily beaded wedding dress for her to hem and take in the straps. She did a beautiful job making sure the beading stayed in tact and even gave me all the ones she had to remove from the bottom. It was exactly what I asked for. Thank you so much, Ramya!

I had a great experience with Ramya's tailoring services! She worked on two pairs of my pants—tapered and hemmed them beautifully—and also sewed in buttons inside my tuxedo trousers so I could wear suspenders. Everything turned out just right and was finished ahead of time, which I really appreciated. Ramya was friendly, attentive, and clearly takes pride in her work.

I can’t recommend Ramya Tailoring and Alterations enough! Ramya was incredibly patient and took the time to explain every step of the alteration process with care and clarity. I brought her a traditional dress made of complicated, delicate fabric, and she handled it with such precision and respect. I came in wanting alterations for my bridesmaids dress and my husbands suit! Ramya was super informative and helpful the day of our fitting and she made sure and double checked with us about the process and if we were satisfied with everything before starting the alterations! 4 days later I came in tried my dress and everything fit perfectly! Ramya saved the day! Another seamstress had my daughter’s letterman jacket for 6 weeks and told us on pick up day she didn’t have it done and we needed it the next day. I called Ramya at 5:30 pm and she said bring it over and I’ll see what I can do! She had it done by 7 the next morning!! This was not a quick job either and the jacket was open at the seams. Bless her for making it perfect! A lovely woman with a heart of gold! Thank you so much! Highly recommend her services!

Yes, the address you see on Maps is correct. And, for those whom assume it is in fact a mistake, thus passing on Ramya’s only to get somewhere that will charge you double, turn you into a number, and have never considered customer satisfaction as being important, “Well Done!” Continue as you were, not missing out at all…
