After reading all good reviews, I finally decided to go to Ramya tailoring and I wish I’ve done that sooner. Not only Ramya has the skills to do an excellent job but her personality shine! Ramya is very professional, skillful, passionate on what she does, always put her customers first and above all, she’s a very kind, loving lady with a huge heart! I cannot recommend Ramya highly enough for bridal alterations! She worked on several of my dresses, and her level of precision and dedication is truly unmatched. What I appreciated most was her meticulous, step-by-step approach; she took the time to ensure every adjustment was exactly right before moving to the next phase, proving that she never misses even the smallest detail. She worked wonders on a sheer lace beaded gown that required a delicate touch, and she perfectly altered another dress featuring a complex corset. To top it off, she added a French bustle that was incredibly well-done and looked seamless with the design. Because of her patience and care, she was able to create the absolute perfect fit for every piece!

Ramya is the sweetest! She is a pro at her work, and she is very flexible and mindful of your needs and wants in whatever you need tailored. I brought two bridesmaid dresses to her and she was able to get the adjustments finished within a couple days to a week. My dresses came back looking perfect and I have no complaints. I’ve been using Ramya Tailoring & Alterations for years and couldn’t be happier. Her pricing is fair, she completes everything in a timely manner, and her work is impeccable. She was professional, prompt, sensitive to my needs and helped me with a rush job for an outfit for my “destination” wedding, less than a week away.
The dress fit like she had styled it for me and her charges were beyond reasonable.
It’s obvious she cares very much about customer satisfaction. I will send all my friends to her when they have alteration issues. Beyond thrilled with my ornate Indian styled dress! Which fits me perfectly now!

Ramya is amazing! I brought her my mother of the groom dress. She did a beautiful job. The dress had several layers and she shortened it for me. Also she is so fast. It was done in a week!
My husband first used her for alterations on some shirts.
She then shortened my daughter's bridesmaid dress and it was perfect.
She is very reasonably priced and is very professional! Thank you Ramya.

Ramya is so kind and friendly but her work speaks for itself. I have had several pants hemmed by her and the length and fit has been perfect. The prices are extremely reasonable and the turnaround time is way better than most shops I've been too. I love supporting local businesses but Ramya makes it such an enjoyable experience.

Ramya is such a sweetheart! My daughter and I came in with a couple of outfits that needed some serious help, and she treated us like family from the very beginning. She listened carefully, offered suggestions, and made sure we felt comfortable the entire time. Not only did she absolutely nail the alterations (her work was flawless!), but her turnaround time was so quick I could hardly believe it.

What really stood out though was her warmth. She went above and beyond to accommodate us and even made the experience enjoyable with the little touches — including the best snacks while we waited! My daughter and I both left saying how rare it is to find someone so talented, professional, and genuinely kind.

If you need tailoring done, don’t even think twice. Ramya deserves all the recognition — her skill, her heart, and her hospitality make her one of a kind!

Ramya was simply amazing! I typically got some of my regular altering done at a place in Folsom but don’t love the place. They do a good job and are fairly inexpensive but I have some issues with some items after I get them and the experience there is whatever. Now, I have my wedding dress to consider, which is fully beaded and very detailed and I knew I didn’t want to take it there so I did some research and came across Ramya. I was very nervous to drop off such an important item for the first time with someone but I trusted my gut. My the first time I went there to picking up my dress, I felt welcome, important and confident she would do an amazing job. She even had me come back half way to try on and said I can come back whenever as I was struggling finding shoes and a veil. My dress looks absolutely perfect and she didn’t miss a single detail. I will definitely be going back for my regular alterations. Thank you again Ramya!

This review is long over due. Ramya is one of the sweetest persons I've met this year who provides a service to others. I called Ramya to see if she was able to shorten the length of a very long dress. I brought the dress to her on a Monday and per my request, it was ready on Friday. She did an amazing job!! Her customer service is second to none. She was very detailed in explaining how the alterations would be made. I highly recommend Ramya. She is professional, personable, and very good at what she does. Her pricing is fair. I will definitely use her services again!

Ramya is one of the sweetest people ever! I brought her my very heavily beaded wedding dress for her to hem and take in the straps. She did a beautiful job making sure the beading stayed in tact and even gave me all the ones she had to remove from the bottom. It was exactly what I asked for. Thank you so much, Ramya!

I had a great experience with Ramya's tailoring services! She worked on two pairs of my pants—tapered and hemmed them beautifully—and also sewed in buttons inside my tuxedo trousers so I could wear suspenders. Everything turned out just right and was finished ahead of time, which I really appreciated. Ramya was friendly, attentive, and clearly takes pride in her work.
